Hello all,
NAOO would like to inform everyone about the donation made by NAOO and its members to Mahabir Pun’s cause for helping Nepali Healthcare workers with essential medical/critical care supplies and protective equipments. Mr. Pun was wholeheartedly welcomed by our ever enthusiastic NE Ohio Nepali community on 07/07/2021.
Needless to give introduction to this Magsaysay award winning national treasure but Mahabir Pun is a Nepali scientist/ social worker/social entrepreneur who has unparalleled contributions in the field of wireless technologies in rugged mountainous/hilly terrains of Nepal. He is also a founding member of Rashtriya Aavishkar Kendra in Nepal which provides essential platform to budding scientists in Nepal.
During his visit to Cleveland on July 7th, 2021 Ms. Nasara Banu handed over the collected fund to Mr. Pun representing NAOO and it’s community member. We hope that this money will be of some help in his effort to provide help to Nepal’s health care during this pandemic. Following are the names of generous people from our community who donated:
