We all should all be proud of what our organization NAOO.org is doing for the earthquake victims in Nepal with your help. NAOO is currently distributing 140 blankets in the affected areas with the help of its point of contacts and volunteer organization in Nepal. NAOO is pleased to announce the update from schools: Shree Mahendra Leela Higher Secondary School, in Gorkha, Santa Sabitra Secondary School, Nepaledanda Bhojpur, Devistan School. Based on this status (see the pictures), NAOO will be allocating incremental amount of $2,000 to each of the school to continue its rebuilding process. Let’s be proud of our contribution that is making a difference. The schools have also expressed their deepest gratitude for the support. As a part of the second phase of rebuilding Nepal, NAOO has already allocated funds for four selected government schools located at Village Development Committee (VDC) that were affected by the earthquake. Each project is assigned with a point of contact who is overseeing the activities and reporting to NAOO.

 


NAOO in Collaboration with local organization, SEBS, distributed relief supplies in Bhawanipur, Salthati, and Gairibisauni near Kavre and Sindhupachok; 30 houses in each village. NAOO officer Nikesh Prajapati is on the ground helping villagers.


NAOO working with restaurant and bar association in Pokhara. The stuffs worth $1000.00 were distributed through first rescue workers to Gorkha and Lamjung.


NAOO, in collaboration with local Marwadi Samaj, is helping victims in Kavre (Ghimire Vilage Tuhuche). This is the first relief effort in this area.


NAOO helped local organization Support Nepal in mudkhu bhanjyang, naya gaun(tamang basti) and Kaule, Shankharapur -9 with some foods, tents and medical team.


After the second earthquake hit in the richter scale magnitude of 7.3, NAOO has resumed its emergency relief effort around oversighted areas. This one is the Magar Gaun on the hill of Banepa. Other than distributing relief supplies, NAOO representative Nikesh Prajapati is working with villagers to build temporary shelter using bamboos and tarps. NAOO contributed $1500.00 for this effort.


NAOO contributed $1000.00 for local organization, Young Sports Club, to provide support in Sindhupalchok where the second major earthquake hit hard on 12th May.
